This is a good video and was edited well. I liked the skiing footage and the concept of the ski culture. We used different clips and mashed them together too but this was done way better than ours.

I like the incorporation of ski footage and how people can have fun without getting high; how you can have “your own Rocky Mountain high” and not just get stoned.

loved that it had no actual dialog. I would make the words stay on screen just a second or two longer. overall very effective and eye catching!

The music that you used really helped with the vlog. It worked well with the images, and did not distract from the message.

I thought it was interesting topic! We made a similar argument–that the changes in culture are seriously impacting our generation!

I liked your use of music and titles. What I got from it was that we should get back to the innocence of enjoying skiing and music without drugs?

Great Job! The video was put together very well. This vlog was similar to my own video because they both covered topics that talked about how media influences have a huge impact on society.

The video was really cool and unique. The slides were hard to read sometimes as they went by too fast. Overall it was an interesting video.

This was an awesome video! The footage you used was really cool, and the editing was extremely well done. The choice in music also assisted the message you were trying to get across. I completely agree with your statement- skiing and music should be enjoyed sober.

  25. March 11, 2011 at 9:41 pm

Very powerful! The music and visuals paired eachother very well, so I guess you got your point across that they go hand in hand.

GORGEOUS! Thought the visuals were awesome and the audio was the perfect backdrop. The first bit (honestly) had the sentimental twist of “growing up” and the latter part of the video was simply fun to watch. Overall, the message about why are drugs and skiing (ak: the mountain scene) thrown together via media is ridiculous. It’s easy for media to lump various stereotypes together, instead of breaking them apart like it is in real life. You guys did a fantastic job making the stereotypes media exploits interesting, beautiful and true.. within a very simple concept.
